- Reading this site, or corresponding through the contact form, does not create an engineering or professional relationship.
- No reliance on published material as engineering advice
- This is the clause specific to this site, and it matters more here than on most. The technical material in Notes, on How it calculates and in the verification record is published so that it can be reviewed and checked. It is written about the general case. It is not a design, it has not been applied to any particular water, and it is not a substitute for one.
- Intellectual property in the content
- Ownership of the text, the technical notes and the marks, and what a reader may do with them. Note that the marks are unregistered, and that no registered-mark symbol is used anywhere.
- Governing law
- These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico.

- How a change is made and how it is communicated.
