Eduardo Saucedo
Eduardo Saucedo, B.S. Environmental Engineering. He
wrote KinetiRO Sim, and before that he spent his career designing
water and wastewater treatment for the Mexican market — first at
Domos Agua / Hydrazul, part of Gentor, then at Rotoplas Servicios de
Agua.
He holds a cédula profesional. The number is not published
here; it is available on request.
That order matters more than it looks. The tool was not written by a
software company that hired a process consultant to check it. It was
written by the person who had been doing the sizing by hand, in
spreadsheets, for real plants, and who knew which corners of the
calculation actually decide a design and which ones nobody looks at.
The measured TKN reaching the model, the aerobic sludge age reported
separately from the total, the element-by-element march instead of a
rejection percentage — those are not features chosen from a
competitor's list. They are the things that had gone wrong on real
jobs.
Why the company exists, in his words and shortened only for length
He is an environmental engineer who believes a better world is
possible through water treatment. The industry's demand for
specialised treatment is one of the larger environmental risks there
is, and as discharge law tightens, the solutions have to get better
and more optimised rather than merely larger. The ambition is to put
an optimised, high-quality answer in reach of industry and of
municipalities — including the ones who cannot afford a consultant to
tell them what their existing plant is capable of.
And underneath it, the thing that actually keeps someone writing a
solver at night: he fell in love with the engineering itself.
Bringing to life a solution that did not exist before, and that
solves the customer's problem at its source, is worth doing for its
own sake.
What that means commercially, said plainly so nobody has to guess
This is a business and it will charge money. The price is not set
yet — KinetiRO Sim is in beta and the figure will be published before
it ends, with no quote to request. The conviction is about what the
software should be for, not about whether it is sold: the free plan
calculates without limit because an operator or a student checking a
number should not have to pay us, and the paid plan exists because a
firm issuing a document it will be held to is a different customer
with a different need.
What each plan includes
