Reporting an incorrect result
Reports of incorrect results take precedence over all other correspondence, and are placed first on this page for that reason.
Where KinetiRO Sim has produced a figure the user judges to be incorrect, KinetiRO asks to be informed. The verification record already publishes the defects identified in KinetiRO's own code; an addition to that record is less costly than an undetected error. The information required is listed at the foot of this page.
Where the software proves correct and the expectation proves mistaken, KinetiRO will state so and provide the working. That outcome is equally useful.
Enquiries that are answered
- A result judged to be incorrect. See above.
- The scope of the model, including whether the software performs a calculation that it does not. The answer is sometimes negative; the product specification states the exclusions. Product specification
- Pricing, seats and Team licences. Plans and current beta terms
- When sealed files are coming, and what they will do. Sealing is still being built and cannot be used yet. What sealed files will do
- Any other matter, including an error on this page.
Services not provided
- Review of a design. KinetiRO accepts no design liability and offers no engineering services. The output of the software is not a design issued by KinetiRO.
- Recommendation of equipment. KinetiRO sells no equipment and receives no payment from any supplier. A preference expressed by KinetiRO would rest on no commercial or testing basis.
- Characterisation of influent. No sampling, no laboratory work and no diagnostics. Where the software requires an influent characterisation that the user does not hold, it must be obtained from a laboratory and a qualified engineer.
Response
A reply from an engineer within two working days. KinetiRO operates no ticketing system; correspondence is not routed between staff.
Correspondence addresses
This site publishes no contact form. Electronic mail reaches the engineer who will answer it and permits a project file to be attached, which a form does not.

Information required to report an incorrect result
Use wrong result as the subject line and include four items where available: the project file, the figure produced, the figure expected, and the source of that expectation where it is a published method. These are sufficient to reproduce the condition, and reproduction is the substance of the investigation.
What the check found in our own codeSealed files are not yet available
Sealing and opening .eaqua files are not yet available;
the feature remains in development. The guarantees it will and will
not provide are already documented, including the limitations.
